1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of One-Off Tasks by SKUNKWORK™ to Customers who are not subscribers to a recurring service plan. By purchasing a One-Off Task, you agree to be bound by the following terms.
2. Definitions
- Customer: An individual or business purchasing a one-time service from SKUNKWORK™.
- One-Off Task: A single, discrete request for creative or technical work such as a website fix, graphic asset, or design update.
- Specification Sign-Off: The confirmation by SKUNKWORK™ that the scope and materials for the task are complete and execution may begin.
- Execution Window: The time target within which SKUNKWORK™ aims to complete the task, starting after Specification Sign-Off.
- Business Day: Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.
- Operating Hours: The hours during which SKUNKWORK™ performs tasks for One-Off Customers: Monday to Friday, 9:30am–5:00pm (UK Time).
3. Task Execution Timeframes

Execution timelines commence after Specification Sign-Off by SKUNKWORK™. Timelines are targets, not guarantees, subject to Fair Usage and Force Majeure conditions.

4. Submission & Specification Sign-Off
Tasks must be submitted via accepted channels (email, contact form, or project dashboard). Each task must clearly include:
- Objective and scope
- Required assets (images, text, links)
- Access credentials where relevant
SKUNKWORK™ will not begin work until Specification Sign-Off has been issued, confirming that all necessary inputs have been received.
5. Execution Windows
Once Specification Sign-Off is issued, SKUNKWORK™ aims to deliver the task within the following timeframes:

Execution windows are targets, not guarantees, and may vary due to project complexity, clarification delays, or Force Majeure events. If a task is delayed due to lack of client input or materials, the Execution Window will pause until resolution.
6. Operating Hours

7. Revisions & Clarification Requests
SKUNKWORK™ includes one round of reasonable revisions per task, provided they do not alter the core scope agreed at Specification Sign-Off. Major scope changes may require a new task or additional fees.
If the task submitted lacks adequate detail, it may be paused or rejected until further clarification is received.
8. Payment & Pricing
- All One-Off Tasks are priced individually and payable upfront.
- Pricing may vary based on complexity.
- Invoices must be paid before work begins.
9. Refunds
Refunds are only issued under the following conditions:
- SKUNKWORK™ fails to deliver the task within double the agreed Execution Window, and the delay is not caused by the Customer.
- The delivered work materially deviates from the signed-off scope, and a reasonable remedy is not possible.
Refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 5 Business Days after approval.
10. Security & Data Handling
Customers must provide access credentials securely and with appropriate permissions. SKUNKWORK™ follows strict internal protocols for handling data and passwords. Sensitive data is not stored longer than necessary and never shared externally.
11. Limitation of Liability
SKUNKWORK™ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, business interruption, or data loss. Liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the specific One-Off Task.
12. Force Majeure
SKUNKWORK™ is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events outside its control, including natural disasters, war, internet outages, pandemics, or government actions.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes must be raised within 10 Business Days of task delivery. SKUNKWORK™ will attempt to resolve disputes internally. If unresolved, parties may engage a third-party mediator for a non-binding resolution.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
