🔐 Backend Access Security Protocols
Secure Access Handling for Fix Tasks, AI Setup, Website Support, and Technical Interventions
At SKUNKWORK™, we take security and data privacy seriously. Whenever backend access is required to perform your task — whether for a technical website fix, AI onboarding, or server-level diagnostics — we follow a structured, secure, and transparent protocol.
We use the Zoho One™ suite to manage sensitive information through secure forms, credential storage, and task-based automations. Our system ensures credentials are transmitted and stored encrypted, only visible to assigned personnel, and disposed of securely after use.
Our internal protocol includes:
-
Encrypted Credential Submission:
Clients are sent a secure Zoho Form, SSL-encrypted and designed to collect only the necessary access details (e.g. CMS, DNS, cPanel, Hosting, SMTP). -
Limited Access & Expiry Controls:
Credentials are routed directly to Zoho Vault or securely held within Zoho CRM, tagged per task and restricted to only those who need them. -
Audit & Logging:
All access events are timestamped and logged. Our Zoho Flow automations notify internal teams when access credentials are submitted or need to be retired. -
Credential Expiry Reminder:
We notify you after task completion to recommend removal or update of temporary accounts/passwords.
🔁 What You (the Client) Should Do
To assist us and protect your systems, please follow these best practices when submitting backend access:
-
Provide Temporary Credentials Whenever Possible
Create a temporary admin user, assign limited privileges, and remove the account once your task is marked complete. -
Be Specific with Access Requirements
If access is required only for a CMS, don’t provide FTP or server root credentials. Keep access targeted and minimal. -
Update Passwords After Completion
Especially for sensitive environments like hosting panels or SMTP email setups. -
Use the Provided Secure Submission Link Only
Do not send passwords via email, chat, or file uploads outside our Zoho Form. This ensures encryption and task-based routing.
💼 Systems We Commonly Access:
Depending on the service type, you may be asked to provide access to one or more of the following:
Task Category | Typical Access Required |
---|---|
Website Fixes | WordPress Admin, Hosting Panel (cPanel/Plesk), FTP |
AI Onboarding (Tidio) | WordPress Admin, Tidio Access, Zoho CRM (if integrated) |
Email Issues | Email Provider Panel, DNS, SMTP Login |
Server Diagnostics | Root Access, Hosting Dashboard, Server Logins |
DNS Fixes | Domain Registrar Login or delegated access |
🔒 Summary Statement
“SKUNKWORK™ uses Zoho One’s encrypted systems to securely receive and manage access credentials. Clients are advised to provide temporary access accounts where possible. All submissions are encrypted, time-stamped, and reviewed only by the technical staff assigned to your task. Access should be revoked upon project completion.”
