1. Introduction

3. Our Services

We offer the following website development services:

  • Fixed-Fee Packages: Comprehensive solutions with defined scope and cost.
  • Custom Development: Tailored solutions based on client-specific needs.
  • Ongoing Projects: Support and enhancement for existing websites.

4. Web Development Process

4.1 Online Consultation

  • Objective: Discuss project requirements, specifications, or wireframes.
  • Details: We conduct a thorough consultation to understand your project goals, target audience, design preferences, and functionality needs.
  • Payment: No cost for consultation.
  • Outcome: Clear understanding of project scope and initial requirements.

4.2 Project Evaluation and Planning

  • Objective: Evaluate specifications and create a project roadmap.
  • Details: Within 24 hours, we provide a detailed plan including timeframes, milestones, and cost breakdown.
  • Payment: 40% deposit of the total quoted cost. This deposit is non-refundable and is applied towards the final project fee.
  • Outcome: Comprehensive proposal with timeline, deliverables, and payment schedule.

4.3 Design Phase

  • Objective: Develop wireframes and design prototypes based on the consultation.
  • Details: Our designers create visual mockups and wireframes, incorporating your branding and preferences.
  • Payment: No additional cost at this stage.
  • Outcome: Approved designs and wireframes ready for development.

4.4 Development and Testing

  • Objective: Transform designs into a fully functional WordPress website.
  • Details: We build the site, integrate required plugins, and ensure responsiveness and functionality. Rigorous testing is performed for quality assurance.
  • Payment: 30% of the total cost upon completion of this phase.
  • Outcome: A nearly complete website with functionality and additional costs for plugins outlined.

4.5 Review and Launch

  • Objective: Final review, adjustments, and launching the website.
  • Details: We make any final tweaks, obtain your approval, and prepare the site for launch. We also provide training or documentation on managing your new site.
  • Payment: 30% of the total cost plus any approved additional costs (e.g., plugin licenses) before launch.
  • Outcome: Your fully developed, tested, and optimized website is live, with all access handed over to you.

5. Payment Structure

Our payment structure ensures transparency and aligns with project milestones:

  • 40% Deposit: Required after the initial evaluation and approval of the project proposal. This deposit is non-refundable and applied towards the total project fee.
  • 30% Midway Payment: Due upon completion of the development phase. This payment must be made before proceeding to the next phase.
  • 30% Final Payment: Required before the launch, including any approved additional costs (e.g., plugin licenses).

Additional Costs: Any costs for third-party plugins, licenses, or other associated fees will be communicated and estimated at the start. These costs must be approved before they are incurred.

6. Payment Methods

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed methods.
  • All payments must be made in GBP (£).

7. Late Payments

  • Grace Period: 7 days grace period for all payments.
  • Late Fee: A 5% late fee will apply if payment is not received within the grace period.
  • Suspension of Services: We may suspend services if payment is not received within 14 days of the due date. Services will resume once outstanding payments and late fees are settled.
  • Termination: If payment is not received within 30 days of the due date, we may terminate the agreement. The client remains responsible for any unpaid amounts.

8. Termination

8.1 Termination by Client

  • Notice: Clients may terminate the agreement by providing written notice.
  • Payment Due: The client is liable for all payments due up to the termination date, including any completed phases of work and non-refundable deposits.
  • Work Completed: Any work completed up to the termination date will be delivered to the client, but no further work will be undertaken.

8.2 Termination by Us

  • Non-Payment: We may terminate the agreement if payment is not made as per the agreed schedule or if there is a failure to meet payment obligations.
  • Breach of Terms: We may terminate the agreement if the client breaches these Terms and Conditions.
  • Notice: We will provide written notice of termination.
  • Payment Due: The client will be liable for all payments due up to the termination date, including any completed phases of work and non-refundable deposits.
  • Suspension of Work: Upon termination, we will suspend all work and deliverables. No additional work will be undertaken.

8.3 Effect of Termination

  • Access: Upon termination, all access to the website and related assets will be removed.
  • Refunds: No refunds will be issued for non-refundable deposits or any phase payments already made.
  • Delivery of Work: Work completed up to the termination date will be delivered to the client, but further development will cease.

9. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete information during consultations and throughout the project.
  • Review and approve deliverables promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding website content and data.

10. Our Responsibilities

  • Deliver services as outlined in the project proposal.
  • Communicate any changes in project scope or costs promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and other UK data protection laws.

11. Data Protection and GDPR Compliance

  • Compliance: We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and relevant UK data protection laws.
  • Data Use: Personal data collected will be used solely for delivering our services and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
  • Client Responsibility: Clients must ensure that all data provided for use on the website complies with GDPR and other applicable data protection laws.

12. Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: Upon full payment, clients will own the intellectual property rights to the developed website.
